Dr. Sandeep Davavala has two DNB (Diplomate of the National Board) titles to his name, one in Medicine from Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, and the other in Gastroenterology from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad. In addition he worked with the PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Mumbai as Clinical Associate in the Gastroenterology department. In between, he completed a Fellowship in Basic and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in pune from January to October 2014. He has done more 25000 thousand case in his career.

Dr. S Davavala is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Endoscopist and Hepatologist in Mumbai, associated with several hospitals and clinics. These include Fortis Hospital (Mulund), Godrej Memorial Hospital (Vikhroli), Sapna Health Care Centre (Ghatkopar), Jagruti Clinic (Ghatkopar) and Sanjeevani Nursing Home (Andheri East). He has also been associated with Joy Hospital in Chembur and Vedant Hospital in Thane.

Dr. S Davavala is adept in all areas of Gastroenterology. He independently performs all therapeutic endoscopies including ERCp, EUS, capsule endoscopy, oesophageal and anorectal manometry, as well as dealing with emergency cases. In addition, Dr. Davavala has been involved in training, having conducted teaching clinics for postgraduate students, and bedside training for new interns and students.
